Do you want to help your child or students build vocabulary in a systematic way?
Are you looking for teaching resources for English-Language learners? Or,
Is generalization a challenge for your child or students?
This series is also perfect for homeschooling, early intervention, and other therapy sessions.

Multiple Exemplar Training - Household Items (Book 1 - Book 3) teach young children to identify and label household items (a.k.a. tact). The current Book 1 includes 25 target household items in two sub-categories - living room and bedroom household items (see Target Lists on pp. 5-6). These targets are common household items that young children use or see in their daily environment.

The author has applied multiple exemplar training (MET; a.k.a. general case teaching), an evidence-based procedure, in the preparation of the teaching materials to facilitate generalization. For example, each target includes seven items as teaching materials in the Teaching Materials section, such as three color photos with different features, one black and white photo, two cartoons, and one line drawing. Moreover, items in the Teaching Materials section encompass as many features as possible from close-in to far-end exemplars.

The series is developed based on Skinner's analysis of verbal behavior (Skinner, 1957) and relational frame theory (RFT; Hayes et al., 2001 ).
