Multiple Exemplar Training - Verbs (Book 1 - Book 4) teach learners to identify and label verbs. The current Book 2 includes 34 target verbs. These target verbs are actions that young children experience during their early years, following the ones taught in Book 1.

The author has applied multiple exemplar training (MET; a.k.a. general case teaching) in the preparation of the teaching materials to facilitate generalization. For example, each target verb includes color photos, black and white photos, cartoons, and line drawings as teaching materials. Also, items of the teaching materials include as many features as possible from close-in to far-end exemplars. Characters of different ages, genders, and races are also covered in the materials to ensure diversity.
